Hi,
on 32-Bit PAE-enabled Systems processes can allocate memory via AWE in the range above 4 GB. SQL Server does this for example, when awe enabled=1. Can I see the memory used by a process with AWE? Best regards, Christian |

I don't know of a way of seeing AWE memory usage. Certainly not with Task Manager or similar utility.

RAMMap is exactly what I'm looking for - but it doesn't run on XP :-(
But as far as I understood, SQL Server is not able to make use of memory above 4 GB due to licensing restrictions on XP anyway. Nonetheless Gavotte is able to access this memory. |
