Error message

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   When I try to click on a check mark to remove it from the startup, I am getting an error message "Error changing item state: Access is denied"  Then there is a choice button of "Run as Administrator" or "Cancel".  when I click on the run as administrator, I get another popup asking if I want sysinternals to make a change to my computer.  Is this normal and I just continue on or is something wrong.

	this is ok. You try to delete a key and you don't have the required delete permissions to this key. In this case AutoRuns asks for admin permissions (UAC prompt)
