I haev tried everything at this point ( i think) all yellow "!" in device manager are gone, I have tried other hard drives, disconnected the DVD/floppy drives, im about to try the USBs now.

im not sure i have mentioned it but, i believe i have a dying chipset fan and it works but it revs up and down ( very annoying) but on start up after POST it beeps 7 times i tihnk ( im not sure the beep code) but gives me an error the my chi[ fan is not working or to low in speed.  so im not sure that is the casue???

Interesting.  In the DPC thread you posted in, I believe others have seen 'results' by opening the case and using a fan to blow air into the case.

well sing a house fan isnt working either.  Im starting to get worried that im going to have to buy a new mobo / proc

i have been to 2 different forums and nothing has worked :(

ok well i tested that USBs, i disconnected them and plugged in my PS2 keyboard/mouse.  That did no solve the prolem.

so as of now i have tested everything. I do not know what to do now :(

The hardware is having problems.  Perhaps it has been permanently damaged from overheating?

Yeah that is possible, I didnt boot in to safe mode and it ran fine. cpu usage was 0%
