I used PSLOGGEDON in a script to query who is logged onto a remote workstation.  It works pretty well but occassionally PSLOGGEDON will hang on a remote computer.  When I issue PSLOGGEDON to the remote computer manually it hangs on CONNECTING TO REGISTRY OF \\computername

It does not time out.  I have to manually kill the PSLOGGEDON task in task manager.  Is there anything I can do to force it to timeout ?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi Lee,

Can you configure symbols in Process Explorer, and use it to capture the stack of the threads in psloggedon.exe, when it gets into this state?

You can copy the stacks (select all lines in the dialog before clicking the Copy button), and paste them in a response.
