Theft of Intellectual Property is IMMORAL, ILLEGAL, UNACCEPTABLE !

For anyone using IObit software: you are urged to read this thread: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=29681

'Malwarebytes has recently uncovered evidence that a company called IOBit based in China is stealing and incorporating our proprietary database and intellectual property into their software.
We know this will sound hard to believe, because it was hard for us to believe at first too.
But after an indepth investigation, we became convicted it was true.'

I removed all IObit softwares from my computer.

i can not undertand these issues.
i have a question.

"when somebody would have come out commercial with first anti virus (signature based scanning), then some other company also would have come with same signature based scanning.
would it be called a IPR viloation."

same nowadays lot of products are available with behavioral modelling of the process. then should it be called IPR violation.

we have winobj and obj viewer from osronline.. is it IPR violation.

what are the criteria of reporting a IPR violation.

Hi LaserWraith,

Thank you for your link, you are a right man, I have confidence in you...
Your site - and your other traces / places - is interesting and plaisant!

IObit reputation is going to zero now, in my eyes.
So it's logic that their website will soon cease to exist (COMING SOON!). With its roots in 2007, which are in evonsoft.com: http://www.evonsoft.com/ Hmmm ...

It is not a surprise for me. I think this might be quite common. Recently, I heard that SuperAntispyware (hope this is the name of the product) uses ClaimAV internally, which is not allowed for closed-source applications.

Yes Vrtule,

I heard that without ClamAV notched, Superantispyware find nothing serious ...
And it is very heavy! Heavy artillery.

MBAM and a-squared - what I like - lightness and efficiency of first order, indeed.

Say hello from me to Tatra Mountains!Smile

PROROOTECT: I do not use SuperAntispy either. I said just what I know.

BTW. Tatra Mountains are situated in Slovakia, not Czech Republic... But yes, they're quite close to me :-).
