Hi, Roberto.

Personal thoughts on the matter....

IANAL, but still... I wonder if the EULA governing these versions of the tools would prohibit this type of distribution.  I would caution anyone to carefully consider the implications of redistributing these utilities...

Hi, Mimino.

Regmon != ProcessExplorer! So this may not be quite the right section to post about P.E. I'd say.

Anyway: item "10. Will it work on 64bit Itanium machines?" inside the Process Explorer FAQs will tell you that starting with P.E. v10.01 the support for IA64 has been re-introduced for Process Explorer. (2006)
The P.E. webpage confirms this is still true for v11.04.

Cannot give any valid statement on plans to (re-)introduce support of IA64 for other Sysinternals programmes, sorry. Cannot give any good advice as to which Windows programmes might feel inclined to run on IA64 at all, sorry. (We only run HP-UX on IA64.)

Hello Roberto,

I have been looking for this version for quite sometime (the version that supports ia-64).  Do you still have it?  If so, I'd really like to get a hold of it please.

Hello, Saurabh.

To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a Process Minotor version which supported Windows on Itanium.

Hello,

I am looking for an old regmonia64.exe. Does it exist ?
I know there is a process explorer for IA64 and I know process monitor doesn't work on IA 64,
but I need regmonia64.exe.

Believe it or not there is a need for it on IA64 and IA64 is not a dying processor.

Anyway if anyone has it please send it to me ,

thanks it advance

Still would wonder if that may constitute an EULA violation...

Everything's a EULA violation nowadays. When the rules (not law, btw) get out of control, people resort to common sense. How is sharing a *free* program (that's no longer offered from "official" sources) bad for anyone? It doesn't hurt the authors, it doesn't hurt Microsoft, there's no loss of profit, etc. It can only be a positive thing. Saying that it would be wrong to help someone out that really could use this program is just wrong. Human nature and ethics overrules.

Please note, that no such thing was said...

Ostensibly, the EULA reflects the wish of the authors, in some capacity.  So it would seem that at least out of respect one may wish to attempt to honor the EULA...
