Hi

My request is very simple:

I want to remove some "directory" of the event viewer like this usesless ones :"netlimiter" "aceeeventlog"

I already tried to shutdown the event logger service, then reboot, then delete *.evt files concerned, but when first time rebrowsing eventviewer (eventvwr.msc) these previously deleted files, are backed up from somewhere i have no clue...

What is the safe and recommanded way to delete the "directory"?

If I'm understanding you correctly...

Remove [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\<LogNameYouWantToGetRidOf>].

Then reboot.
