Hi Richard, i also used depends on it but did not notice the module list view 00:00:00.000: Failure starting the process. La aplicacin %1 no se puede ejecutar en modo Win32 (129). So i presume it would be wiser to jut leave it alone,i also used devmgmt.msc to see if any device uses CO_Mon.sys but found nothing |

CO_Mon.sys appeared on my system on 04/29/2006. I had just used Norton Antivirus (the free version to scan from the symantec site). So I suppose that the driver is installed with the OCX that performs the virus detection. Hope that this can help. |

Hi Giannic, you were right I also used the symantec online scan some mounths ago,so I just repeated the scan and checked with Process explorer, ''\Device\CO_MonV02115'' was then visable in Process explorers view handles lower pane under ''WSOOPScan.exe''
. Process moniter also showed ''C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\CO_Mon.sys'' ''sucess'' under filter:Path contains CO_Mon.sys. So I suppose Autoruns can't identifiy CO_Mon.sys ,as it is only loaded by symantecs online scan.Thank you GianniC ,and every body else who posted . .
