Windows SBS2008 SP2
Process Explorer has been set up per common instructions to use symbols. Symbols have been downloaded and threads show symbol references. However in System Information the Paged Limit value still says "no symbols" while the Nonpaged Limit is showing a numeric value. It seems symbols are working correctly for everything except the Paged Limit counter. ![]() Edited by cmcfarling - 13 November 2012 at 6:04am |

I also should point out that the Nonpaged Limit shown in Process Explorer does not match the !vm output from KD. KD shows NonPagedPool Max as 9377780 KB while PE shows it as 989172 KB. Maybe related to the same issue?

This works! srv*c:\symbols*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols This is what appeared in my "configure symbols" dialog box by default as a suggetion. srv"C:\symbols\publics"http//msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols It did not work. The Processor Explorer Help Manual shows the same statement but with " * " instead of " " ". This the other state statement I used: C:\Program Files\Debugging Tools for Windows (x86)\dbghelp.dll |

No that has nothing to do with what was being discussed. That is the method to use symbols granted, but the issue here had already assumed that was already done. I have this same issue and hope it does get fixed in next version as stated. I went through this work to get rid of the "no symbols" and only got halfway there.
