An etl file contains trace data.  The referenced file name would appear to be some sort of trace data for or containing event tracing for windows / diagnostic logging.

Googling the name of the file, it seems to be pretty common that they are not accessible, perhaps due to being in use.

what is a "EtwRTDiagLog.etl" file?

My virus program couldn't read these files... I have never even heard of .etl before!

Is it virus and how do I get rid of it in that case?????

I use Norman Malware Cleaner and so far that one has worked but this time I am starting to doubt it...

Plz advice me in what to do!! I don't want to have to download Avast again - it really slowed down my computer last time!
