Access denied for Contig in Vista Ultimat

Not sure what you mean with elevated CMD prompt?
Click the start Orb, type command, right-click Command Prompt in the results list and choose "Run as Administrator".  Respond to the UAC prompt.  When the command-prompt launches, run contig.

Would you agree this is the right app for this purpose?
Contig can be used for this.

I use the CMD prompt and type
 
contig -v c:\erik\...... etc
 
The respons is "access denied"
 
I have no idea what I do wrong? Or can it be some windows internal security stopping this like it does sometimes when you try to install an application?
 
I got the recommendation to use this app to clean my over 2 GB big PST files i outlook to speed the application up. Would you agree this is the right app for this purpose? I have used the archieve function in outlook first of course, but the PST files are still quite big
 
Actually, strangly enough, my major PST file was 4GB file, and after archieving it became 2GB left but the new archieve 3 GB? Don't understand what the extra GB came from....?

Try running contig from an elevated CMD prompt.

I get the message "access denied" when I try to run contig under vista ultimate sp1. any suggestions?
