Yes, others have made feature requests to have Process Explorer store its configuration information in a more "portable" fashion, such as you describe.

Thanks for replying.
I'm just curious why you have chosen this kind of storing configuration. That's interesting especially because PE is delivered as a .zip file, without installers. Btw. sometimes have no system rights to upload a file into a registry |

Process Explorer stores values in, and loads values from, the registry. Sorry, ini/xml/cfg files are not an option...

molotov, is there any way to "import" those settings into .ini or other cfg file which I could place in the same directory in which procexp.exe is stored?

Hi iKer,
Process Explorer stores its configuration information in [HKCU\Software\Sysinternals\Process Explorer]. So, you would want to export this key (or specific values / sub-keys), and then import the settings on another system. |
