Yes, the issue also affects VMMap v2.1 running on Windows 2000. Do note that the VMMap utility page does not list Windows 2000 in the "Runs On" box.

I just tried it with XP SP2 with the VMmap from http://live.sysinternals.com/ :
Monday, June 29, 2009 11:16 PM 608632 vmmap.exe
and I got a crash on my system, see attachment

Nice work! Indeed, it seems causing VMMap to call QueryWorkingSet when it intends to call QueryWorkingSetEx will permit VMMap to function... |

VMMap call psapi.dll!QueryWorkingSetEx function.
But, not exist XP32 and not checked NULL.
