Hello, I have two problems as the topic suggests. I hope to gain solutions to these problems. I will explain them below. If you need more information, just ask. 1. Several months back I downloaded a screen saver (at http://69.9.35.36/savers.htm the 2002 WOGA one) that I ended up deleting before uninstalling and recently I thought it would be a good idea to clean up my computer. So I went to Add/Remove Programs and noticed I could not remove it, a file was missing the was required for its unistallation. So I went to the site where I downloaded it and downloaded it and installed it so I could properly uninstall it. Well, on the first run installation, I opened it and the Task Bar's programs' text's font (e.g. Google Search, Sysinternal, WinMX) was flashing from the normal font to a different, thinner font. But when I switched to another program (e.g. WinMX), it would cease alternating between the two fonts. But as I selected the screen savers' window, it would begin flashing alternating those two fonts again. Also, the installation did not go so well on the first run, so I had to end it and restart the program, well it installed without flashing but now my that irrregular font (i.e. thinner) is the default font affecting all displayed fonts except .pdf, .doc, .wpd etc files. For example, Googles' "Advertising Programs - Business Solutions - About Google" font irregular font, the text in a google search describing the link and the text in this box, and the folder name font is that irregular fon--just some examples of its radius of effect. Perhaps that gives you an idea of what or where to change the font type. Question #1: How do I change it back to the regular font? 2. In my C:\ directory the folder “My Music” keeps appearing even though I delete it. So it must be a command stored in Windows to generate this folder. Question #2: How do I cease its generation? Thank you Edited by gnarly_love |
