Hi, Kyle.

Hope I am not spreading incorrect information now.
Checked the available download files on the Regmon webpage again.

Note that the 32-bit zip files (the first two) are identical, and works on either Win9x or NT as well as 64-bit (x64) Windows XP and Server 2003.

The 3rd file seems to for 64bit Windows on AMD, telling from the filename "Regmonamd64.zip".

But at the top of the page you can read:
Regmon works on Windows NT/2000/XP/2003, Windows 95/98/Me and Windows 64-bit for Itanium and x64.

This seems to suggest that the 3rd download file ought to be for Itanium as well.

Just downloaded the file and compared the executable inside to my regmon.exe (installed from RegmonNt.zip) and they were identical. This would suggest whichever file you download the executables will always be the same.
So the information on the webpage is somewhat confusing.

Karl

I am attempting to use regmon on an HP rx8620 running windows 2003 enterprise edition for Itanium.

I reciect the following error:

The image file xxxx\regmon64.exe is valid, bit is for a machine type other than the current macnine.

I did read that regmon supports itanium servers however I'm not sure if the download was for x86 or Itanium.

Any help would be appriciated.
