Recently PE doesn't start anymore on an old PC of mine, where it has always worked correctly in the past.
I get a generic "PE has stopped working" message.  PE is last version 16.20 on Windows 10.
I read about possible problems related to .NET, tried some dotnet fix without any result.

Some info from the Windows Event Log:
---

What could I try? Any help appreciated.

0xc0000005 = Access violation

capture a crash dump (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb787181%28VS.85%29.aspx, set DumpType to 2 to get full dumps), upload the dmp to OneDrive and send Mark the link to the crash dump:

Thanks MagicAndre1981,

I proceeded as you indicated. The crash dump is at https://1drv.ms/u/s!ArHvBi3LwTmykQ6kGTadv3FPmuY5

Any progress in fixing this?  I have this problem too; it will run on two win 10 laptops here, but not on my HP Envy desktop.  Nothing was changed; it just quit starting a few days ago.
