Hey all,

I know, and no, I did not use the wrong OS - lol.
I'm looking for Process Monitor usable with Windows XP. The newest versions are not compatible.

The error with the current version is:
Procmon.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point InitializeSRWLock could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

Can someone please help me out? AFAIK Process Monitor 3.1 is compatible, but I cannot find it anywhere..

Greetings!

Process Monitor 3.20 (5/25/2015) works on my WinXP SP3 box.

I've found older versions of SysInternals programs on archive.org. Search for www.sysinternals.com around the date of interest.

While 3.20 generally woks on XP and is the last version for that OS, on some installations it didn't work for me, so I had to go back even further. The version that works on that machines is 2.96, also found through Web Archive.

Interesting. I've never had an issue with v3.20 on any XP (SP3) box.  Perhaps I should get v2.96 "just in case". Smile

I do have v2.7 running on a Win2K Sp4 box though.
